OSSINING, N.Y. -- Local produce and lots of other goods brought sizeable crowds out to the Down To Earth Farmers Market in Ossining Saturday, despite temperatures in the mid-90s and high humidity.
"We have a very nice turnout, considering the heat," Down To Earth's Kate Cascone told Daily Voice. "I think people want local produce, we have regulars who come every week."
The Market runs every Saturday from May to December, near Spring and Main streets in Ossining, and currently specializes in fruits and vegetables, fish & seafood, plants and flowers, beverages, prepared foods, personal care products, baked goods, meat & poultry, eggs, dairy, honey and pantry staples.
