This year's forum is being co-sponsored by the White Plains Public Library, White Plains Council of Neighborhood Associations and NAACP/Greenburgh/White Plains.

Issues such as redistricting, education, immigration, economic development and the FASNY project are of interest to voters this year.

Forum attendees will hear candidates for state Assembly, state Senate and Common Council present their perspectives on these and other issues. The forum also will give audience members a chance to ask questions of candidates, submitted in writing, about other issues which concern them.

Elections for New York State Senate and White Plains Common Council are contested elections; the New York State Assembly elections are uncontested this year.
