Friday, Jan. 25

Saturday, Jan. 26

Hudson Chorale Concert: 3 p.m. The Hudson Chorale, Westchester’s largest mixed chorus, will start the 2013 season with “Strings of Song” at the Scarborough Presbyterian Church in Briarcliff Manor. The concert will feature works by Mozart and Mendelssohn, Hebrew love songs by Eric Whitacre, an anthem by Lukas Foss and choruses from Porgy and Bess. Tickets are $25, $10 for students and can be purchased at the door or in advance by calling (914) 462-3212 or through the website: www.hudsonchorale.org. Cajun Food Night Fundraiser For Project Relief: 5:30 to 10 p.m. Proceeds from the fundraiser are set to benefit the sixth annual Project Relief Mission Trip to New Orleans helping to rebuild homes and lives damaged by Katrina and subsequent hurricanes. Youths from the Briarcliff Congregational Church, Scarborough Presbyterian Church, Peekskill Presbyterian Church youth groups as well as area high school students and adults volunteer on the mission trip. Ossining Winter Farmers Market: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. In the opening days of 2013, Down to Earth Markets begins the first-ever Ossining Winter Farmers Market at the corner of Spring and Main Streets in downtown Ossining. Vendors include: Amazing Real Live Food Company, Baked by Susan, Bread Alone, Feather Ridge Farm, Gajeski Produce, Hudson River Apiaries, Meredith’s Country Bakery, Migliorelli Farm, The Pastures, Pickle Licious, Pika’s Farm Table, Pura-Vida Fisheries, and Tierra Farm. The winter market will run every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. through May 18.

Friends Of Ossining Public Library: 2 p.m. The Friends of the Ossining Public Library annual meeting will take place at the Ossining Public Library. Friends will discuss projects and vote on new officers. All are welcome to attend the free event. Ossining Public Library, 53 Croton Ave., Ossining.

Sen. Carlucci Meet And Greet: 2 p.m. Come to the Ossining Public Library and meet newly elected state Sen. David Carlucci. Carlucci will answer questions and concerns. He represents the newly formed district covering Rockland and Ossining. Ossining Public Library, 53 Croton Ave., Ossining.
