Friday, Oct. 19

Computer Help: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Free drop-in help with computers. Residents can learn how to navigate web pages and create documents in Microsoft programs. For more information, contact Cheryl at (914) 2416, Ext. 315. Ossining Public Library, 53 Croton Ave.

Briarcliff Library Story Time For Tots: 4 p.m. Every Friday through Nov. 16, the Briarcliff Manor Public Library will host a story time for children from 2 to 4 years old. Briarcliff Manor Public Library, 1 Library Road.

“Nutopians” Concert At Ossining Library: 7 p.m. The Ossining Library Foundation sponsors the 2nd Annual Foundation Fundraiser with "John Lennon Imagined: Beatles & Solo Years" featuring the Nutopians. The concert will benefit the Ossining Library Foundation. The Nutopians are an eight-piece ensemble that celebrates the genius and artistry of John Lennon. Doors open at 7 p.m. General admission is $45. Ticket order forms can be picked up at the library or downloaded from www.ossininglibrary.org. Ossining Public Library, 53 Croton Ave.

Maryknoll Film Festival: 7:30 p.m. “The Infidel” is the October feature at the International Film Festival. The festival provides monthly offerings on Friday evenings through April. Maryknoll Mission Center, 55 Ryder Road, Ossining.

Saturday, Oct. 20

Exercise Class at All Saints: 8:30 a.m. The Briarcliff Manor church hosts an exercise class on Saturdays. The class is free. All Saints Episcopal Church, 201 Scarborough Road, Briarcliff Manor.

The Ossining Farmers Market: 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Farmers Market runs every Saturday through Dec. 15. Market Square, Market and Spring streets. 

Briarcliff Library Technology Workshop: 10:30 a.m. The Briarcliff Manor Public Library program will go over Windows 7 Basics. The technology workshop is an individualized session using online and digital sources. The Briarcliff Manor Public Library, 1 Library Road.

The Digital Darkroom: 1 to 3 p.m. Photographer Mark R Friedman presents a technical overview of what to do with your digital picture. The class starts at 1 p.m. in the second floor conference room of the Ossining Public Library. Ossining Public Library, 53 Croton Ave.

Tasty Port Wine Anniversary Party: 2 to 10 p.m. Tasty Port Wine in Ossining is hosting a free wine tasting to celebrate its first year in the village. 127 Main St., Ossining.

Author Talk In Briarcliff: 3 p.m. “Rip” by Nicholas DiGiovanni. In this retelling of the Washington Irving classic, author Nicholas DiGiovanni brings Rip van Winkle into the '60s, finds him gainful employment as a toll-taker on the Tappan Zee Bridge and makes his long-suffering wife a charter member in the feminist movement just starting to sweep the country. The author will do a reading from his book and sign copies, which will be available for purchase. Briarcliff Manor Public Library, 1 Library Road.

Sunday, Oct. 21

Words and Music Concert Series: 2 p.m. Tabith Fair performs at the Ossining Public Library. The Words & Music Concert Series is sponsored by the library Foundation. All are welcome to attend.  Doors open at 1:30 p.m. seating is first-come, first-served. Ossining Public Library, 53 Croton Ave.
