Briarcliff Manor Board of Education Regular Meeting: 7:30 p.m. The Board of Education is set to talk about various items facing the district. Briarcliff Middle School Theater, Briarcliff Manor.

Ossining Public Library Board of Trustees Meeting: 7:30 p.m. This meeting is open to the public. 53 Croton Ave., Ossining.

Briarcliff Manor Board of Trustees Work Session: 6:30 p.m. 1111 Pleasantville Road, Briarcliff Manor. Wednesday, Feb. 27

Briarcliff Library’s Hooked On Books: 4:15 p.m. Registration is required for this program for 4-, 5- and 6-year-olds. The group will meet for two four-week sessions and focus on developing a love for stories and other key concepts in reading readiness via book extension activities, games and crafts. Each meeting will focus on one or two stories with a related activity. Winter Session II: Feb. 27 through March 20.  Registration is required with Amy Kaplan at 914-941-7072. AARP Tax Aide at Ossining Library: 10 a.m. Need help with your taxes? AARP Tax Aide will be available at the library from February through April. Tax Aide volunteers have been trained and certified by the IRS. Bring in last year’s tax forms, Social Security statements, bank statements and any other pertinent information.
