THORNWOOD, N.Y. - Margaret L. Hewitt of Thornwood died May 2. She was 85.
Hewitt was born Jan. 7, 1929, to Argyle and Katherine (Harmon) Ballard in White Plains.
Hewitt is survived by her son, Gary (Lorelei) Hewitt of Newtown, Conn.; sister, Jean Flynn of Florida; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents; husband, John (Jack); son, Terrence; daughter, Karen Hewitt; brother, Argyle; and sister, Shirley Ballard.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, May 5 at Holy Name of Jesus Church, Valhalla. Interment at Mount Calvary Cemetery, White Plains.
