Fresh from appearances at festivals across the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom, the band has been likened to an array of artists such as Tom Petty, Cracker, the Wallflowers and Jethro Tull. They've been performing together since the late 1990s when band members met in art school.
The Slambovian's album, "Box of Everything," released in 2014, features a complilation of the best tracks from the group's last four albums. The band is known for its strong international and local following, Daryl's organizers say.
The show is at 8 p.m. Sept. 9 at Daryl's, 130 Route 22 in Pawling. Ticket prices range from $25 to $35.
