OSSINING, N.Y. -- The Rock Star Vocal groups from Mike Risko Music shared their music with the Ossining Farmers Market on Saturday.
These classes have been working on their repertoire and their performance skills since the beginning of the summer. The youngest group, just under 4 years old, sang a song from Annie while one of the older groups did an acoustic version of Taylor Swift's "Bad Blood".
These groups featured students from Pleasantville, Chappaqua, Peekskill and Armonk, in addition to Ossining, and the parents enjoyed watching the show and shopping at the Ossining Farmer's Market when their child was done singing.
Mike Risko Music offers these classes all year in addition to their private lesson program on all instruments and voice. They were just named a top place for music classes for kids and Best Rock Music Program by Westchester Family Magazine. The Rock Star vocal classes are traditional group voice classes where students sing contemporary and musical theatre repertoire while also learning performance skills and doing frequent shows.
