OSSINING, N.Y. -- Theater O, Westchester’s newest theater school, presents its first in-house production, "Curvature of the Earth," Thursday and Friday, Aug. 6-7.
Brian PJ Cronin’s "Curvature of the Earth" is a whimsical coming-of-age story.
The production features Ossining teens Somari Davis, Jason Fineberg, Alejandro Flores, Kate Flynn, Eli Hersh and Colin Tobin. Jessica Irons directs, and Andrew Irons designs.
Since opening in May, Theater O has served a wide variety of students from all across Westchester County. Classes are available for students prekindergarten through high school in acting, musical theater, improv comedy, movement for theater, hip-hop theater, puppetry, playwriting and design for theater.
Classes are designed for beginning through advanced students and offer the potential for growth in craft and person. Performances are on Aug. 6 and 7 at 8 p.m. at Theater O in Ossining. There is no admission fee, but seating is extremely limited, and reservations are required.
