Ossining was one of the 700 communities across the country that was a part of the celebratory day, which is always held on the longest day of the year. Risko taught the guitar players a few chords and songs provided by the Make Music Foundation. By the end of the two-hour free program, the guitar players were playing “Sweet Home Alabama” and “Bubbly.”
Make Music Day or Fete De La Musique, was established 32 years ago in Paris with the goal of making music free for everyone.
