OSSINING, N.Y.-- The Ossining MATTERS group is set to host its 11th annual fundraising 5K trail run/ two-mile walk at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 21, at the Ossining Boat and Canoe Club.

The event will have a new race course that will feature roads overlooking the Hudson with runners continuing on trails in the Edward M. Wheeler Crawbuckie Nature Preserve, according to a release from Ossining MATTERS.

Registration fees are $20 for adults and $10 for students aged 18 and under. Those that pre-register will receive a free t-shirt on race day while supplies last.

Awards will be given for all age categories.

Over the last decade Ossining MATTERS has awarded over $700,000 to Ossining Schools, according to a release.

Check in for the race will begin at 7:30 a.m.

The fundraiser also coincides with the Village of Ossining's bicentennial celebration and Harbor Fest.

The Ossining Boat and Canoe Club is located at across from the train station.
