OSSINING, N.Y. -- The Ossining Pubic Library will screen the documentary "Kombit: The Cooperative" on Sunday.

"Kombit" tells the inspiring story of how Ossining resident Hugh Locke and Haitian agronomist Timote Georges worked with thousands of small-scale farmers in Haiti to plant five million trees and double their organic crop yields at the same time.

The screening will feature an introduction by Ossining Town Council member Karen D'Attore and a post-screening Q&A with Locke, who's president of the Smallholder Farmers Alliance.

Call the library at (914)-941-2416 for more information about the screening.

The screening begins at 2:30 p.m.

The library is at 53 Croton Ave., Ossining.
