Ossining Library Hosts Screening Of 'Bully' Documentary

OSSINING, N.Y. -- The Ossining Public Library will host a screening of the documentary film "Bully," presented by the Ossining Documentary and Discussion Series on Thursday, Jan. 16 at 6:30 p.m.

The screening will be followed by a discussion with a panel of experts on the topic of bullying in schools.

The panel includes Dr. Esther Sohn, a NYS and Nationally certified school psychologist and has worked with students (K-12) in Ossining Union Free School District for the past nine years; Cindie Walline, LMSW who a Certified Olweus Bullying Prevention Program Trainer, the anti-bullying program that is being implemented in Ossining schools; and Brandon O’Dell who is now a successful college student who has learned to forgive and even reconnect with some of the kids who bullied him in middle and high school.
