The 19 members are now Junior Girl Scouts, according to a press release.

Troop 2238 started four years ago when its then-new members were in kindergarten.

Troop leaders Helen Caridi and Barb Foshay also were honored at the ceremony, which was Sunday June 14 at the Edith Macy Conference Center in Briarcliff Manor.

Other Ossining Girl Scout members and leaders participated in the event. Attendees celebrated new Ossining service unit managers Rosie Foster and Rosemarie Jost, who have stepped into the roles once filled by Lynn Millstein and Janice Paganelli.

"I am excited about this role as I really believe in Girl Scouting,” Jost said in a press release. “I have been a troop leader for the past 4 years and love working with the girls - watching them experience new adventures and gain more confidence in themselves. I am looking forward to working with the amazing leaders we have in Ossining."
