Ossining Food Pantry Celebrates 28th Anniversary

OSSINING, N.Y. -- The Ossining Food Pantry held its annual celebration Sunday at Shattemuc Yacht Club.

More than 200 people attended and helped raise funds for the purchase of food to help feed the needy in the Greater Ossining area.

The Ossining Food Pantry is a 100% volunteer run organization with no paid staff, relying on the work of volunteers and donations from the community. The Food Pantry serves a cross-section of residents from the Greater Ossining area distributing food from a variety of locations and programs. 

Those in need include men, women, children, the elderly, long-time residents and those new to the area.
