Saternow's work is architectural and nuanced. The workshop will explore his methodology and technique in achieving his particular aesthetic. Participants should bring one or two landscapes drawn out in pencil, minimum size of 15 by 22 inches and the largest size of 22 by 30 inches. Landscapes should have buildings/structure in them.
Saternow has taught numerous workshops in New York and across the country. He received his MFA from Yale University and his BFA from SUNY Purchase.
Lunch will be provided by the Ossining Arts Council. There is a fee of $250 for both days, paid in advance.
