After a welcome by Andrea Ruggiero, Open Door's director of Care Coordination and Wellness Initiatives, guests participated in Zumba and T'ai Chi demonstrations representing classes offered by the center's Wellness Program. Guests included patients, friends, New York State Assemblywoman Sandy Galef and representatives from the offices of New York State Sen. David Carlucci and U.S. Rep. Nita Lowey.
The Wellness Centers in Ossining and Port Chester offer programs such as wellness seminars, exercise classes, weight management, nutrition counseling, chronic disease self-management, diabetes prevention and more.
