OSSINING, N.Y. -- The final concert of the season in the Sunday Afternoon Concert Series at the Ossining Library will feature Marc Berger on Sunday, June 28 at 2 p.m. in the Budarz Theater.
Berger will perform songs from his recently released album “Ride.” The album takes one on a tour of the romantic American West and has earned the performer national recognition and rave reviews.
Berger and co-producer Mike Ricciardi now present “Ride;” ten cinematic recordings reflecting his romantic connection to the American West and exploring the value of its myths to contemporary culture.
His song, “The Last One,” was a staple of Richie Havens’ for years, and has been quoted in the New York Times and featured on the CBS Evening News.
“The thing I have always found so intoxicating about being in that environment is the way it gives you the ability to hear yourself think and breathe,” Berger said.
