Norwalk Police Find Crack, Heroin In Car Of Man Asleep At Drive-Thru Window

NORWALK, Conn. — Police found marijuana, heroin, crack, cocaine and ecstasy in the car of a Norwalk man who had fallen asleep behind the wheel while in a McDonald's drive-thru, according to the Hour.

Officers responded to the Main Avenue McDonald's at around 2:30 a.m. Friday after receiving a report that a man had fallen asleep behind the wheel, the Hour reported. When they arrived, they found 29-year-old Justin Underhill of Taylor Avenue inside the car, according to the Hour.

Police told the Hour that officers detected the odor of marijuana, and that Underhill admitted he had drugs in the car. When they searched the car, they found a mason jar filled with marijuana, as well as 26 baggies of marijuana, nine folds of heroin, three bags of crack, one bag of cocaine and five bags of ecstasy, the Hour reported.

Underhill was charged with a number of drug offenses including possession of narcotics, possession with intent to sell, and possession of a controlled substance or more than four ounces of marijuana. His bond was set at $100,000. Underhill is also on probation following a 2013 conviction for selling drugs, according to the Hour.
