WESTPORT, Conn. – In a new report, Movoto has named Westport as third on a list of safest places to live in Connecticut.

In 2012 in Westport, only 1,190 per 100,000 people experienced property crimes. Of those, there were 26 vehicle thefts, 1,014 thefts and 150 burglaries.

Darien ranked No. 1 and Greenwich was No. 2, according to the report. The City of Groton rounded out the Top 10.
