Franzese, Valhalla Realtor, Dies at 86

VALHALLA, N.Y. - Anthony "Andy" Franzese of Valhalla died Jan. 10 at the age of 86.

Born June 13, 1925 in Jersey City, N.J., he was the son of the late James and Felicia Franzese. He served in the Army during World War II and married the former Monique Ambroise.

Franzese was self-employed as a real estate broker in Valhalla and Hawthorne. He was also a member of the Valhalla Lions Club. 

He is survived by his wife Monique Franzese of Valhalla, his daughters Monica (Richard) Bell of Saratoga, N.Y. and Claudia (Preston) Buckart of Trumbull, Conn., his brother Paul (Louise) Franzese of Valhalla and six grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brothers Maurice, Nicholas and James V. Franzese, Jr. and his sister Anna Antonelli.

The family will receive friends at Hawthorne Funeral Home on Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral mass will take place at Holy Name of Jesus Church in Valhalla at 10 a.m. on Saturday.
