Astor Country Estate Has New Owner

Holly Hill, the late Brooke Astor's country estate in Briarcliff Manor, N.Y. recently sold for $6.45 million. Tracy Isaacs, an associate broker in Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Connecticut and Westchester County, N.Y. Scarsdale office represented the buyers.

The 64.5-acre estate features a 1927 stone mansion overlooking formal English gardens and lush green lawns. The 10,888-square-foot home, designed by architect William Adams Delano, includes 13 bedrooms, nine full bathrooms, two half bathrooms, six marble fireplaces and indoor and outdoor pools. The property also features a four-bedroom gardener’s cottage, a carriage house, a greenhouse and cabana.

Brooke Astor was a prominent philanthropist and socialite. She died in 2007 at the age of 105.
