What's on the Agenda in Mamaroneck

MAMARONECK, N.Y. -- Mamaroneck residents made their voices heard a recent village meeting. If you want to address an issue, you will have a few opportunities this week in the Village and Town of Mamaroneck.

Monday

The village Board of Trustees will meet in the Courtroom at 7:30 p.m. The board will reaffirm a resolution adopted at the Sept. 19 work session for an accounting amendment to the 2010-2011 fiscal year budget that will reflect the costs of the Mamaroneck Public Library renovation, which cost $15.5 million. Since the library doesn't have the authority to issue debt on its own, it relies on the village to take on the debt and then pay back the village. It will also agree to pay the $16,000 for next year's July 4 fireworks display at Harbor Island by Oct. 31 to add 100 free shells for the big finale. The full agenda is available here.

The town Zoning Board of Appeals will meet in Conference Room C at 7:45 p.m. to consider three applications to construct additions on homes in the Town of Mamaroneck. Click here for the full agenda.

Wednesday

The village Recreation and Parks Commission will meet in the Courtroom at 7 p.m.

The village Planning Board meeting scheduled for 7:30 p.m. in the Regatta Conference Room has been cancelled.

Thursday

The village Flood Mitigation Advisory Committee will meet in the Regatta Conference Room at 7:30 p.m. The meeting was moved from Tuesday to Thursday.
