Exchange Club Wins Stamford American Crown

STAMFORD, Conn. -- Exchange Club won the Stamford American Little League championship, defeating Dr. Bs in the title game. Exchange Club entered the post-season tournament as the No. 2 seed after going 10-6 during the regular season.

En route to the title game, Exchange Club defeated PAL, 8-5, and Instant Replay, 10-5.

The team includes Nick Frattaroli, Nick DiPreta, Nico Laveris, Brandon Parrott, Mark Rainidi, Gary Morgan, Evan Hyman, Bryan Schwartz, Matthew Yirz, Lewis Bier, Denny Sachs and Danny Callazo. The team is managed by John Frattaroli, Bill Baer and Gregg Schwartz.

Stamford American also announced its 12-year-old All-Star team, which will play in the District 1 tournament. The All-Stars include Olivia Wilder, Daniel Bernard, Trey Donoghue, Lucas Beldotti, Sam Berkun, Nico Laveris, George Nikolopoulus, Nick Frattaroli, Nicolas DiPreta, Trey Gorey, Jonathan Saint, Justin Wexler and Alex Robushi. The manager is Wayne Robushi, and coaches are Dr. David Berkun and John Frattaroli.
