Parents, it's time to start registering children for kindergarten in the fall. The Greenwich Public Schools recently announced plans to start kindergarten orientation in March.
After orientation, parents are asked to make an appointment during kindergarten registration in early April to verify residency and register for their school. On May 5, incoming kindergartners will be invited into the classrooms of their schools for kindergarten visitation day. Schools will mail invitations for that event.
Here is the incoming kindergarten 2011-12 parent orientation and registration schedule:
Cos Cob School: Parent orientation is March 7 at 9:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. Registration is April 4 to 8.
Glenville: Parent orientation was March 1 at 9:15 a.m. Registration is April 4 to 8.
Hamilton Avenue: Parent orientation was March 2 at 7 p.m. Registration is April 5 to 7.
International School at Dundee: Parent orientation was March 1 at 9:15 a.m. Registration is April 4 to 8.
Julian Curtiss: Parent orientation was March 1 at 9:15 a.m. Registration is April 4 to 6.
New Lebanon: Parent orientation is March 25 at 9 a.m. Registration is April 4 to 8.
North Mianus: Parent orientation was March 1 at 9:30 a.m. Registration is April 4 to 7.
North Street: Parent orientation is March 3 at 9:15 a.m. Registration is April 4 to 8.
Old Greenwich: Parent orientation was March 1 at 9:30 a.m. Registration is April 4 to 8.
Parkway: Parent orientation is March 3 at 9:15 a.m. Registration is April 4 to 8.
Riverside: Parent orientation was March 1 at 9:15 a.m. Registration is April 5 to 7.
