The children's rehearsal conductor was Carol Arrucci, owner of the music school and retired teacher from the Hendrick Hudson School District.

"I enjoy providing opportunities for the Hen Hud students since I taught music there for 25 years," said Arrucci. "Our music school has arranged for teens to perform amazing shows in New York and children's choirs in local venues such as The Paramount Hudson Valley. It is important to me that our kids get the experience to sing or play music with professionals. It's inspirational."

A professional ensemble of instrumentalists, soloists from the tri-stae area and a complete opera chorus completed the experience.

Travis Ramirez, an aspiring opera singer at CSPA and Hen Hud High School senior, also performed a main baritone role, Le Dancaire, in the opera.
