Rye Library To Celebrate 100 Years Of Local Authors

RYE, N.Y. -- The 100-year history of local writers will be the cause for celebration on Oct. 26 at the Rye Free Reading Room for a "Centennial Author Event," according to a notice from the library.

The event will take place at 11 a.m. in the Charles G. Strater Memorial Reference Reading Room.

"The Rye Free Reading Room is pleased to host the talented creators of some of the very books on our shelves," representatives said in the notice. "Find out what makes these authors write, what they have coming next, and how they craft a tale from page to page." 

The event promises to feature Lee Woodruff, Mitchell Silver, Annabel Monaghan, Dinah Moche, David Kidder, Harold Holzer, Andrew Gross, Kevin Egan, Bob Clyatt and Doug Brunt, according to the notice.
