Author Glenn Berger's Appearance Tops Ossining Library's Summer Events

OSSINING, N.Y. -- Author Glenn Berger will present his latest book “Never Say No to a Rock Star – In the Studio with Dylan, Sinatra, Jagger, and More" at the Ossining Public Library on Thursday, July 7.

Set in the New York City music industry in the 1970s, "Never Say No to a Rock Star" tells the story of how Berger rose from "schlepper" to apprentice to legendary music producer Phil Ramone.

The free program begins at 7 p.m. Books will be available for purchase and signing. 

Photographer Elinor Stecker-Orel will present "History of Photography Part 2 – Of Gelatin, Brahms, and Potatoes!" in the Budarz Theater on Wednesday, July 13, at 7 p.m. 

Author Monica Randall will lecture on "The Grand Hotels of the Catskills" in the Budarz Theater on Wednesday, Aug. 10, at 7 p.m.
