Youth Jobs Summit Set For Wednesday In White Plains

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. – A Youth Summit for young adults interested in finding employment will be held Wednesday, April 16, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in White Plains.

“Youth Summit – Roadmap to your Future: Destination Success” will be held from 8:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Men and women ages 18-24 are invited to register for the event online. The event is sponsored by The Business Council of Westchester, the Westchester-Putnam Investment Board and Berkeley College.

Al Duncan, a nationally acclaimed youth advocate, will facilitate an interactive summit that includes:

  • Building Your Personal Brand
  • Speed Networking
  • Budgeting, and
  • Dressing for Success.

There will also be workshops on how to use social media to your advantage, utilizing professional strengths and goal-setting.

The Summit is free, and includes complimentary breakfast, lunch and parking. There will also be raffle prizes, gift cards, movie tickets and a grand prize to be announced at the end of the event.
