OSSINING, N.Y. -- Pizza Pizza will be coming soon to the Village of Ossining.
Little Caesars, the third largest pizza chain in the United States, is looking for an entrepreneur to open up one of its franchises, known for the "Pizza Pizza" catch phrase, in Ossining.
"We're targeting Ossining," Ed Ader, director of franchise development, said. "It's similar to many towns we are in across the country. Little Caesars offers great tasting pizza at a great price."
Ossining is a Little Caesars kind of town, Ader said.
"Families drive our business and Ossining is a great family community," Ader said.
Ader said they are looking for someone from the area to start the franchise, which he expects to be involved in the Ossining community.
"We're looking for someone with a great work ethic who wants to work in a proven system," Ader said. "We're looking for someone who wants to run a business and be involved in the community."
Little Caesars franchises helps support the Love Kitchen, which travels around the country feeding the homeless.
The pizza chain is known for its hot and ready pizza, generally cheese and pepperoni, which is ready when the customers in.
"You make your selection and you are on your way," Ader said. "It's simple and easy for our customer. We are strictly carryout. We don't have online ordering or delivery."
Little Caesars currently has locations in Yonkers and Mount Vernon. Ader said they are also looking at opening in White Plains and Peekskill.
While there is no specific timetable for the opening of the Ossining, Ader said he is hoping to open a store as soon as possible.
Prospective franchisers can attend the International Franchise Expo at the Javits Center in Manhattan from June 18-20 to learn more about Little Caesars.
