Slated to open this summer, Good Choice Kitchen is a brick and mortar expansion of her current personal chef offerings. Drawing on her training as a health-supportive chef, Gershgorn creates customized menus using organic ingredients sourced from area farmers and purveyors. Good Choice Kitchen offerings will include: eat-in prepared foods and juices; daily grab ’n’ go options; customized organic meal plans, weekly or monthly; group cooking classes.

“The demand for my services has grown rapidly in the last several years. People want to take control of their health - eating well is a huge part of that. This seemed like a perfect moment to expand my business and so I’ve I decided to take the leap and open Good Choice Kitchen,” says Gershgorn.

To round out a substantial personal investment, Gershgorn is crowdfunding a portion of her final build out costs using a platform called Barnraiser, dubbed the ‘Kickstarter for foodies.'

The idea to start a crowdfunding campaign was actually born out of so many people asking how they could play a part in bringing this to life”, says Gershgorn. “We’ve reached almost 40% of our goal in the first two weeks of the campaign. This response really speaks to how committed people are to investing in healthy food grown by farmers they know by name – they’re literally putting their money where their mouth is. I’m thrilled to be a part of it.”

The Good Choice Kitchen crowdfunding campaign has set a goal of raising $20,000 by midnight, May 27. To learn more about Good Choice Kitchen visit the crowdfunding page at this link.
